Talpa

Talpa is a group project developed during semester 2, designed as a Team Activities Logistical Planning Application. The application was created to help companies plan team outings and activities in a democratic and organized way.

The core workflow allows team members to suggest activities for upcoming company outings. Once everyone has submitted their suggestions, colleagues can vote on their preferred options within a designated time period. The activity with the most votes, considering both popularity and date availability, is selected as the team outing.

One of the standout features is the ability to customize the application's branding to match each company's corporate identity. This personalization makes the app feel tailored to each organization, improving user adoption and engagement.

The application also includes a leaderboard system that tracks which team members have had the most activity suggestions chosen over time. This gamification element adds a fun, competitive aspect to the planning process and encourages creative activity ideas.

Built with ASP.NET C# for the backend and Auth0 for secure authentication and user management, Talpa demonstrates team collaboration tools and modern authentication practices.
